Aislinn is a Solicitor in the Family and Children department. Based in Eastbourne, she specialises in Public Law children matters and is particularly interested in representing parents in Care Proceedings.
Having completed her training with a Legal 500 firm in Buckinghamshire, Aislinn joined Taylor Rose in Eastbourne on qualification. During her training, she worked on a range of children cases where substance addiction, domestic abuse, and mental health concerns were at the centre of the proceedings.
As well as advising parents on Care Orders and Supervision Orders, Aislinn can assist with related proceedings such as Emergency Protection Orders, Child Assessment Orders, child custody and Discharge of Care/Supervision Orders. She also represents parents in Public Law Outline (PLO) pre-proceedings meetings. Alongside her children work, Aislinn advises on domestic abuse matters including injunction proceedings.
Aislinn can be counted on to provide clear and pragmatic advice in an empathetic manner. She ensures that clients are comfortable in their understanding of the legal process, and robustly represents their interests in proceedings.
Aislinn obtained her degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from King’s College London. She went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, where she also attained a Masters in Legal Practice in the field of Family Law.
Outside of the office, Aislinn volunteers with a Ministry of Justice-funded charity which seeks to rehabilitate sexual offenders to prevent re-offending and enhance public protection.
In her spare time, Aislinn enjoys reading, baking, and running. She likes to explore new places with her husband, Tim, especially if those new places have a crazy golf course or an independent cinema.
