Andrew is a Consultant at Taylor Rose. He qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and has worked in conveyancing since then assisting clients with their home move dealing with sale, purchase and mortgage as well as with clients' investment purchases. Andrew's caseload includes work for developer clients who he has represented on the acquisition of land, setting up the development estate ready for sale and handling the individual plot sales.
The conveyancing transactions completed include freehold and leasehold property, voluntary lease extensions and shared ownership.
Advice is given to joint purchasers to ensure that their intentions with regard to their shares of ownership of the property are formalised with the preparation of a Declaration of Trust.
Since 2018 Andrew has conducted probate work to assist those clients who require a grant of probate for the sale of property including those estates that are subject to a liability to pay Inheritance Tax.
Advice and assistance with powers of attorney is provided to clients in particular with the registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Business clients requirements for advice concerning commercial leases is met with the preparation or approval and the completion of leases.
