Bailey is a Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation and Insolvency team, working alongside a talented group of lawyers who assist clients in navigating complex or sensitive disputes involving commercial, reputational, and international interests.
His areas of expertise include high-value contractual disputes, breakdowns in director or shareholder relations, contentious insolvency proceedings (including claims under the Insolvency Act), and financial or regulatory litigation concerning organisations regulated by the FCA and FSCS.
While most disputes are resolved through negotiated settlements, he has litigated several high-value cases to trial in the High Court.
He particularly enjoys working with clients to understand their objectives and learning how their businesses operate. Taking a pragmatic and commercial approach to dispute resolution, he frequently assists clients in resolving disputes in a cost-effective manner, ensuring that they are equipped to make informed and reasoned decisions when facing challenging and complex disputes.
