Geraldine qualified as a solicitor in 2001 having trained with Laytons solicitors, with whom she then worked with for 7 years. She specialises in Real Estate, and in particular new build, high net worth and complex residential property matters, and unregistered land.

She has worked in both residential and commercial matters. This has included developments which have overage agreements, chancel repair obligations, and assignment of contracts.

Her work has included advising on defective titles where the land is bound by restrictive covenants relating to development, access, and rights of way.

Geraldine acts in all aspects of sale and purchase, including re-mortgage, for both leasehold and freehold matters. She has a firm understanding for working to tight timescales often required with new build properties and the associated concern this can bring to buyers.

She has extensive experience in buyers purchasing from overseas for investment purposes, including those purchasing properties in central London as a second home.
