Hamid Mehr joined the firm as a Senior Immigration and Asylum Consultant in May 2018. Hamid has been qualified as such under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
Since 2009, he has helped hundreds of refugees and those who might have had asylum/immigration issues in the UK.
In 2001, Hamid graduated from the University of Liverpool with the degree of PhD. However, his interest in the area of asylum and human rights drove him to work closely with refugees from Iran and Afghanistan as Hamid is also a native speaker of Farsi and Dari.
He then decided to take his work in immigration to the next level by getting accredited at a senior level under the Law society’s scheme. Hamid’s work falls within the wide range of International protection and the UK’s domestic immigration control.
