Henna Ehsan is based at our London Bridge and Hove office. Henna joined the firm in 2019 and specialises in complex children’s law matters.
Henna qualified in 2012 and has over 10 years’ experience as a Family Lawyer.
Henna was accredited as a family law specialist in 2015 and is instructed primarily on children’s applications for Child Arrangements (contact and residence disputes), Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders (including change of name, re-location, waiving consent on medical procedures and travelling abroad).
Often Henna’s cases involve the social services and Care proceedings. Henna deals with applications made by the local authority for Special Guardianship, Parental Responsibility, child removal orders including orders for Interim Care, Supervision, Emergency protection and permanent orders for Adoption & Placement of a child. These matters often involve complex factual or legal issues, including child abduction, international relocation, cases involving serious allegations of sexual abuse, alienation, intractable contact disputes and non-accidental injury.
Henna also advises on Domestic Violence and occupation disputes, Divorce and Financial Settlements, Pre-nuptial agreements and Cohabitation issues.
