Jessica McKenzie

Jessica is a Consultant. She is the recommended purchase property lawyer for several large national house builders and receives recommendations from local mortgage brokers and estate agents in Ilkley, Bradford, Bingley, Otley, and surrounding areas.

With 22 years of experience in the conveyancing sector, Jessica specialises in new build properties. These require a specialist lawyer to review development packs, including planning and building regulations approval, new home warranties, section agreements, and other essential legal documents.

Jessica began her career as an office junior at 16 and studied part-time for her CLC at Calderdale College in Halifax. Over her career, she worked for many large and high street law firms, ultimately becoming a director and head of new build property in private practice. Now self-employed, she leverages her extensive experience to serve her clients better.

In addition to her expertise in new build properties, Jessica handles all types of residential property transactions, including sales and purchases (leasehold, freehold, and shared ownership), lease extensions, staircasing, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family. She is passionate about competitive sports and games, particularly golf, where she finds both challenge and relaxation.
