Katharine  is a Consultant at Taylor Rose, providing legal advice in respect of the majority of your personal life events; Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Estate planning, Inheritance and Tax planning. Katharine also deals with Estate administration, for all types of Estates including complex taxable Estates.

Katharine’s desire to help people and make a difference drove her to the law. She enjoys meeting clients and giving them the best advice and attaining the best solution for them. Katharine recognises that a lot of the time clients approach her at a difficult and stressful time of their lives and she always acts with integrity, sensitivity, compassion and discretion.

Katharine has drafted thousands of Wills for a wide range of clients over the years, including business owners and farmers. Katharine recognises that a Will is always a bespoke document, as each client’s circumstances are different, and takes time to know her clients, so their requirements are fulfilled.

Katharine is happy to assist clients with Estate planning and Inheritance Tax planning, recognising the importance of safeguarding and preserving families wealth.

Katharine qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 and has assisted clients in the North East in this field since then, having worked at some of the top rated firms in the North East of England prior to joining Taylor Rose, and looks forward to continue to serve the people of the North East.
