Dual-qualified in England & Wales and Malaysia, Malliga brings insight gleaned from her work in both jurisdictions. Malliga has extensive experience acting for major lenders and borrowers in advising on a broad range of financings, including project finance, multi-trade finance, bridging finance and revolving credit.
Malliga advises clients on Islamic finance under a variety of Shariah principles, including, to name a few, Murabahah Tawarruq, Commodity Murabahah and Musharakah Mutanaqisah.
Malliga also has a wealth of experience in real estate transactions (sales, purchases and transfer of equity) and their financing and re-financing.
Malliga read law at Anglia Ruskin University and completed the Legal Practice Course at the same university. Prior to joining Taylor-Rose, Malliga worked at an established city law firm in Malaysia specialising in corporate finance.
