Paul qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and has over 20 years’ experience as a criminal defence lawyer. Paul completed his training in the Magistrates’ Courts where he worked as a legal advisor to the lay magistracy in South Bedfordshire.
In the last decade, Paul has spent most of his professional life as a defence advocate in the Crown Courts. His advocacy skills have been honed over many years of conducting trials in the Crown Court. He has successfully conducted trials at the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) and has appeared before the Court of Appeal.
He has extensive experience of acting in matters ranging from motoring (including driving without due care and attention), public order, theft, fraud, robbery, firearms, sexual assault, assault, attempted murder, and murder.
Outside of work Paul is an avid fan of the National Basketball Association and follows Formula One. His other interests include travel, music, and Netflix.
