Rahimah is a solicitor in our commercial litigation department based in London, and qualified in 2012.
Rahimah advises on and litigates on a range of commercial cases which involve contractual and property disputes, including misrepresentation claims, disputes involving directors, shareholders and fall outs within companies, claims for unfair prejudice and insolvency matters.
She also has experience in lender service litigation, specialising in defended and complex mortgage and landlord/tenant repossession proceedings for lenders and fixed charge receivers.
She is known for her practical approach particularly, when advising clients on difficult and complex matters in order to progress cases as quickly and smoothly as possible to achieve best results for her clients.
Rahimah has an undergraduate degree in law and completed her masters in law at Kings College London. She completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London.
Instructed on a matter relating to a dispute between two directors who were also shareholders of a company. We acted for the defendant. The claimant sought damages for unfair prejudice, diversion of business, breach of contract and breach of directors’ duties. We negotiated a financial settlement for our client.
Advised on an application for an interim charging order against an ex-employee who set up a completing business against out client. The client successfully achieved a final injunction and an award for damages against the Defendant at court.
