Ruth qualified as a solicitor in 2020 and worked in family law at a firm in Worthing until the end of 2022 when she joined us as a consultant.
Ruth has a degree in linguistics, and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at Sussex University, before completing the Legal Practice Course with distinction at the University of Law. Ruth did seats in Private Client, Conveyancing, and Family and Litigation. Ruth's caseload has covered a range of family law matters, including divorce and financial remedies, children disputes, injunctions, and cohabitee disputes.
Ruth enjoys running and has run the Brighton half-marathon for local domestic abuse charity, Rise. Ruth also enjoys martial arts, training in Genbukan Ninpo Taijutsu, Jujutsu and Karate. Ruth has an interest in languages and studied German as a part of her linguistics degree. Ruth continues to study German in her free time.
