Sarah Moulange

Solicitor - Criminal law

Sarah is a  newly qualified solicitor specialising in crime and extradition law.

Sarah has been representing clients at the police station for years, giving those interviewed or arrested a fearless and thorough defence. Sarah is passionate about holding the police to account and ensuring that clients are supported during their encounters with the police.

Sarah has worked on a wide spectrum of criminal matters, including serious violence and firearms offences. She works tirelessly to ensure that cases are prepared thoroughly and that clients are fully and consistently informed. She enjoys exploring technical points of law and complex legal arguments. In 2018, she litigated a case in which a technical point of law was clarified in relation to the law on obstruction of a police officer, which is now the lead case on that matter.

Sarah particularly enjoys representing young people and children accused of criminal offences and ensuring that they are protected and supported during criminal investigations and proceedings. Similarly, she also has a strong history of representing those suffering from mental health conditions, passionately advocating to ensure that they are not unduly criminalised.

Sarah also has experience representing clients in extradition proceedings, both as an advocate and a litigator, preparing complex cases both in the Magistrates Court and at the High Court at the Royal Courts of Justice.
