Sharon qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 having gained a 2:1 LLB (Hons) degree in Law with French at Birmingham University.

Sharon has over 25 years’ experience of dealing with all aspects of civil litigation at both national and regional firms, as well as working in-house. Over the last 9 years, she has developed an interest in contentious probate disputes and now specialises solely in this niche area.

Sharon is Co-Head of our Contentious Probate team and member of ACTAPS. She can help beneficiaries to challenge the validity of a will, advise on bringing a claim under the Inheritance Act 1975 if someone has been excluded from a will or they have not received reasonable financial provision under a will or intestacy. She also deals with beneficiary/executor disputes, the removal of executors, trust disputes, parentage and burial disputes.

Sharon approaches her claims in a pragmatic and commercial way. She is a great communicator and uses these skills to achieve effective results for her clients as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Sharon spends most of her weekends and spare time with her family at premier league football matches both here and in Europe. She is fluent in football as well as French! She also enjoys walking her dogs, cooking and foreign travel.
