Sonia is a Solicitor in our medical negligence department. She has experience in handling a wide variety of cases involving surgical errors, delays in diagnosis of cancers and strokes, fatal injuries as well as supporting families at inquests, complex conditions such as endocrinological conditions, respiratory illnesses and internal injuries such as colorectal conditions and rectal prolapse mesh cases.
Sonia brings years of experience handling and being involved in high-value birth injury cases securing life changing multi-million pound settlements that provide essential care packages for injured children and much needed support for their families.
Sonia is known for her approachable, empathetic and compassionate nature providing support and guidance to help her clients navigate the complex legal process having experienced life-changing injuries.
Sonia has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in academic sciences before entering the legal field. She qualified in 2014 in medical negligence with this department before relocating to the South West in 2018 joining a highly ranked law firm. She returned to Taylor Rose in February 2024. Sonia's work in the South West has been noted in the Legal 500 and mentioned as a key lawyer in 2023.
Sonia is a trustee and Chair of a Bristol based charity, Cerebral Palsy Plus, which supports members with cerebral palsy to help them lead independent lives.
