Tara is a Consultant at Taylor Rose.

She qualified as a Solicitor in December 2010 and has over 16 years’ experience within Commercial Property. Tara specialises in the acquisition, disposal and letting of all types of licensed premises, including hotels, public houses, restaurants, clubs and businesses.

Tara deals with a significant number of transactions and businesses involving licensed premises every year and has previously acted for both first time buyers and established publicans. Advising on the sale and purchase of both leasehold and freehold public houses and dealing with all related issues including the sale and purchase of the business, stock and F&F. Tara is also able to advise first time publicans on the potential pitfalls involved in buying a business of this nature.

A significant amount of Tara’s experience is within the licensing sector and can advise on various aspects of Licensing Law including Premises Licence applications, Variations, Transfers and Temporary Event Notices.

Tara also deals with general commercial property work. This includes the surrender and variation of leases, licences to assign/underlet, licences for alterations, dealing with security of tenure issues arising under Part II Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, preparing deeds of easement and other advice on landlord and tenant matters.
