After starting at the firm as a paralegal and completing her training contract, Toni qualified as a Solicitor into the Medical Negligence Team in 2020.
Toni enjoys having a varied case load. Her current case load covers a range of medical disciplines such as Ophthalmology, Cardiology and Andrology and she often encounters issues such as negligence during surgical procedures, misdiagnosis and delay in diagnosis and treatment. Toni represents bereaved families during inquest proceedings where a death appears to have arisen as a result of medical negligence and she also continues to assist on cases of maximum severity including birth and spinal injury claims.
She particularly enjoys the variety of medical and legal issues that each case presents and the fact that each case is different.
Toni is naturally helpful and uses her caring nature to assist clients through some of the most difficult times of their lives in pursuing a claim for compensation after they have suffered an injury. She has been described by clients as "incredibly knowledgeable and supportive" with "clear, quick, helpful" advice.
Toni is recognised as a key lawyer in The Legal 500.
Toni is a member of our Social and Charity Committee and enjoys getting involved in charity events both inside and outside of work, including running a half marathon for charity in the past.
