Expert evidence

Interim compensation and help

Insurers often agree to pay for rehabilitation under the Rehabilitation Code whilst their investigations into liability continue. We will, if possible, obtain payments on account of a final award to assist in easing the financial burden you may face for lost earnings or to pay for treatment, care, or equipment.

If at the point of settlement or trial there remains a long-term risk of a serious deterioration in your physical or mental condition, such as epilepsy, we will seek an order for provisional damages. This will be to enable you to seek further damages later should that risk occur.
