Kim qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and joined our firm in 2018. Since qualification Kim has dedicated her practice to assisting clients protect their civil liberties and rights through the law.
She has over 15 years experience in actions against the state, civil liberties and human rights, specialising in police actions, inquests and judicial review.
Kim has brought numerous challenges against police forces across the country in a variety of matters including the right to protest and sexual assault, and has achieved many successful outcomes for clients over the years. She has acted in a number of notable police actions and inquests following deaths in custody, including representing a Hillsborough survivor, and acted in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.
Kim is entered in the Civil Liberties, Human Rights, Administrative and Public Law sectors of Legal 500 in 2017. She is a member of the Police Actions Lawyers Group, the Inquest Lawyers Group and a panel solicitor for the Centre for Women’s Justice.
