New Business Manager

This role involves but is not limited to:

  • Source new business for a variety of leads as well as completing tenders to win contracts
  • Promoting the New Business Department externally in order to generate leads to win work
  • Help retaining existing relationships as well as win new relationships by providing excellent service, effectively managing issues that occur, providing solutions and communicating well with key stakeholders.
  • Actively visiting offices of the companies where new relationships have been identified for development (Car Allowance will be allocated to this role)
  • Highlighting any potential growth opportunities on a monthly basis and working with the New Business Managers/Head of New Business to ensure that relationships are developed to win new work opportunities
  • Proactively advancing own professional development and ensuring these align with the development of the business.
  • Contributes information to the Head of New Business on strategies to develop and tender for new relationships by monitoring competitive products, offerings and assessing needs within the legal services market.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an New Business/New Sales role
  • Ability to develop relationships and tender for new work
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • A problem solver.
  • Ability to manage and develop relationships at all levels
  • Strong conveyancing/property/legal services knowledge and ability to allocate work correctly
  • Ability to work to and exceed targets
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
