Communications Support Operator

This role involves but is not limited to: 

  • Operating switchboard to ensure that clients are transferred correctly and efficiently. 
  • Typing messages during calls, to ensure delivery of communication in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of the business structure and services offered.
  • Using multiple database systems to search for relevant information 
  • Providing an excellent and professional customer service to all callers.

On occasion providing support to our Document Control Department by welcoming clients into reception, this will include:

  • Accepting client documentation and certifying ID documents
  • Providing refreshments for clients and meetings
  • Receiving deliveries
  • Covering holidays and sickness of team members and other operational departments such as Document Control.

Requirements:

  • A professional, flexible and reliable attitude and approach 
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to answer a high level of telephone calls on a daily basis, with targets in place.
  • Customer focus with a proactive “can do” attitude and eagerness to be helpful on every call.
  • Strong communication skills & ability to communicate at all levels and across all departments
  • Able to work within a team as well as independently 
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, strong work ethic and ability to prioritise and problem solve.
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft office, telephones and case management systems
