Kosar is a Solicitor in the Actions against the Police Department.
Kosar has worked on a wide range of complex litigation across Civil and Public Law matters against public authorities (such as government bodies, local authorities and agencies). She has successfully represented clients in cases involving claims of assault/battery, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, breaches of the Human Rights Act 1998, discrimination, amongst others.
Kosar has also worked on a number of Judicial Reviews which sought to challenge unlawful decisions made by state bodies, and is passionate about representing bereaved families in inquest proceedings following deaths in custody.
Kosar is committed to upholding the rights of the most vulnerable in society and ensuring that state bodies and officials are properly held to account when abusing their powers.
Kosar is a member of the Police Actions Lawyers Group and Inquest Lawyers Group.
