Tony is a Consultant.
He qualified as a solicitor in 1976 and did some of the very first Industrial Tribunal cases in the old Central London Tribunal in Ebury Bridge Road. He is a very experienced Employment lawyer.
He has developed a particular speciality in “whistleblowing“ – see Topliss v NCP Services Ltd [2010] All ER (D) 222 which, following appeal, resulted in a payout to the Claimant of more than £240,000 as well as Cavendish Munro Professional Risks Management Ltd v Geduld: [2010] IRLR 38 which most legal commentators at the time believed defined the nature of protected disclosure.
He founded Employment Relations Solicitors in 2001 and acted for Eurotunnel and other well know companies amongst others. He is an experienced trainer on employment law issues.
Tony has worked in Spain and France and speaks conversational Spanish and French. He enjoys music, travel and having grown up and gone to school in South East London follows the ups and downs of Charlton Athletic Football club..
He is also a trustee and deputy chairman of the Rebuild Charity which is an orthopaedic charity attached to Kings College Hospital in London.
