Taylor Rose are proud to announce the appointment of Ruben Perin as the Director of Commercial for Residential Property.
Ruben Perin's journey to the role of Director of Commercial is marked by dedication, hard work, and a pursuit of excellence. He began his career in Beaconsfield, specialising in high-net-worth conveyancing transactions. Ruben continued to hone his skills for three years before joining McMillan Williams in 2015.
At McMillan Williams, Rubens expertise propelled him up the ranks, where he eventually led the conveyancing team in the Fulham office. Later, he played a pivotal role in establishing a new office in Kingston before rising to the esteemed position of Partner within the firm. His journey didn't stop there; following a merger with Taylor Rose TTKW, he assumed the role of Regional Lead for Central, where his responsibilities extended into management and training whilst he was still able to continue his own fee-earning.
When asked about his objectives in his new role, Ruben emphasised his commitment to enhancing the efficiency and productivity of employed fee earners within the Residential Property department. He aims to drive higher performance, ultimately fostering development and growth within the department. His vision is built on collaboration, unity, and support, aligning the entire department towards a common goal of excellence.
Having previously worked as a fee earner, Ruben is aware of the limitations that arise in everyday conveyancing transactions. As a result of this, he particularly enjoys engaging with fee earners and traveling across the country to work alongside all those in the firm who share his love for conveyancing.
Rubens remarkable success can be attributed to his unwavering drive, exacting standards, and his ability to inspire his team to surpass their limits. Under his leadership, the Kingston office successfully completed one hundred transactions within a month during the stamp duty holiday, showcasing the extraordinary effort and organisation he instilled.
In collaboration with Lee Adams, Head of Commercial and Anton Osborne, Director of Property, Ruben plans to unify the Residential Department on the employed side to feel a sense of togetherness and unity. He acknowledges the challenges brought about in previous years and with remote work, he seeks to reinstate a positive working environment that empowers fee earners.
In light of the industry's recent challenges, Ruben acknowledges the difficulties faced by the property market. However, he highlights the firm's strength in having a dedicated team of fee earners capable of handling complex transactions, setting them apart from the competition. To navigate these challenges, he intends to work closely with the New Business team and prioritise a proper fee structure that values the hard work and dedication of the department's fee earners.
Outside of his professional life, Ruben enjoys family time with his two young sons, and is expecting his third child in December. He is also an avid football fan, both as a player with some friends locally, and a spectator. He has been able to attend matches this year of his beloved team, Tottenham Hotspur who he has supported since he was a child.
To conclude, Ruben Perin's appointment as Director of Commercial for Residential Property heralds an exciting new chapter for Taylor Rose. His wealth of experience, unwavering commitment, and vision for unity and excellence promise a bright future for the Residential Property department.
We are thrilled to welcome Ruben to this new role, and we look forward to the continued growth and success he will bring to our firm.
