Cutting edge approach with modern values

Inside Taylor Rose

With a proud heritage and a unique management structure unlike any other law firm, the firm's philosophy is to deliver smart, modern law. We have a clear vision:

Simplifying Law: From the everyday to the most complex issue, we will provide you with clear, concise advice, always putting your best interests first.

Humanising Law: We build trusted relationships with people and organisations to successfully overcome hurdles and challenges in life and in business.

Challenging Law: We’re a challenger law firm with a unique management structure that drives a culture of passion, innovation and creativity.

Smart Law, because we operate a smart business with smart people.

The legal market has changed and as far as we are concerned, only for the better. Smart law means advice and services focused on outcomes, listening to clients, innovation and investing in technology for better outcomes and value for clients.

At Taylor Rose we use the latest legal technology and not only have a large team of experienced, specialist lawyers but also a large support team focused on ensuring clients get the best, proactive service. We know that service, responsiveness and transparent information matters to clients.

Modern Law is welcoming change and adapting quickly

Modern law firms understand that innovating and investing in our business and people ensures we provide a state of the art service to our clients.

We were early adopters of the fastest growing law firm model - a combination of employed lawyers and specialist consultants.

This offers clients maximum flexibility and the ability to instruct a highly experience specialist lawyer. Being transparent and open to client feedback creates trust.

Diversity &
the Gender Pay Gap

Taylor Rose fully supports a diverse workforce. We are required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to collect, report and publish data on the diversity of our workforce every two years.

Download our Diversity Report by clicking here.

The gender pay gap is defined as the difference between the mean or median hourly pay rate that female and male staff receive.

We are committed to reducing the gender pay gap and have published our data of the 5th April 2023, with our headcount increasing to 689 from the previous year. We have chosen to publish our data and demonstrate our commitment to achieving a reduction in our gender pay gap.

As a business, we will continue to review how we recruit, retain and promote females within the organisation as well as remaining as inclusive and supportive employer as part of our approach to smart, modern law.

Social responsibility

Communities & Charities

Our employees are instrumental in the annual charity selection process by offering their nominations and voting for our charity partner. Following our most recent vote, we are pleased to confirm that our charity partner for 2023/24 is ‘PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide’.

We are very proud to support PAPYRUS and we hope to raise as much money as possible to assist the fantastic work that PAPYRUS do.

We expect all directors, partners and employees to act responsibly and with integrity in an environment of mutual trust.

Environmental

We recognise the importance of limiting our impact on the environment and actively participate in and promote effective methods to continually reduce all waste generated by the firm; recycle and reuse where possible; be energy efficient and reduce our CO2 footprint; avoid the use of harmful chemicals and gases.

We regularly audit and review our processes as part of our continuous improvement programme to ensure we comply above and beyond environmental legislation and guidelines.

Ethical

We strive to implement appropriate processes and procedures that ensure ethical and responsible conduct across customers, suppliers, communities and employees.

We will communicate to and with stakeholders in a transparent and open manner.

We expect all directors, partners and employees to act responsibly and with integrity in an environment of mutual trust.
